Me face painting at the Orleans County Fair in 2018

I live in northern Vermont with my husband, our daughter, and our pets.

I enjoy spending time with my family and dogs, riding my Ryker motorcycle, going out to eat, and spending time in my studio creating art.

I've always been interested in art and started drawing when I was young. It runs in my blood I suppose, as I have several talented artists in my family including my uncle Lon Michels, a famous abstract artist in Wisconsin.

I started out doing abstract pet portraits in 2006, with the pet's name hidden in the portrait, and more recently, my faux paint style.  They were a hit and I've done hundreds of them over the years! I've even done some face painting which was fun! This past year, I've started dabbling with making jewelry trinkets, and had good luck selling them at local craft shows. Follow my Facebook or Instagram page to keep up with all my creations.
